Survive the long night in the Forest! is a fantastic survival game. There are no heavy weapons or superpowers, just you, a flickering campfire, and 99 long nights to endure. The game forces players to face the most primal fear. It stems from the darkness and the potential dangers it holds. During the day, everything seems peaceful. Sunlight streaming through the leaves is deceptive. But don't let that beauty lull you to sleep. As soon as the sun sets, the game reveals its true form as a brutal arena of life and death.
The campfire helps you stay warm and lights your way in the dark. You will feel true panic as the fire dwindles. The screen darkens, and the growls of the Skinwalker get closer. This monster cannot be defeated in a normal way. The monster's immortality exerts an invisible pressure on the player during all 99 nights. You are not the hunter; you are the prey struggling to find a way to live. Preserve your life through 99 challenging days and nights!
Survive the long night in the Forest! has a fast-paced rhythm. During the day, you must compete with the passing of time. Players should move flexibly using the WASD keys. At night, you have to scour every corner of the forest to find wood. You will stand next to a tree and press the F key to gather resources. Players can go to a wood-rich area to start warm campfires. If it's too dark, you might need the L key to light up your path. To counterattack after being attacked, hit the E key.
The game does not allow you to be lazy. With each passing night, the difficulty increases. Resources are scarcer, and the monsters are more aggressive. Upgrading your base and crafting weapons become essential elements. You have to often venture far from the safe zone. You need to explore abandoned camps and old ruins to find clues about those who came before. Those fragmented stories piece together a tragic picture, explaining why this forest is cursed.
